David Azofeifa

Purpose first.
Technology in service.
People at the center.

I turn complex ideas into clear, useful work across data, AI, writing, and digital products. This is the public map of that work: what shaped it, what it became, and where to explore it.

A path you can verify

The through line is visible in the work itself: an early-web beginning in Costa Rica, a career that moved from SQL into data and AI, and public projects that turned repeated lessons into reusable methods and software.

Mid-1990s

Self-taught on the early web

HTML and ASP Classic became the first tools for moving an idea from imagination to a working page.

A widening toolkit

From SQL to data, machine learning, and AI

Each chapter added a new way to understand complexity, while judgment and human context remained the part no tool could replace.

Built in public

Projects became a platform

Repeated projects became patterns. Patterns became plugins. Plugins became vaMicrosites: one shared foundation that lets each site start with more than it could afford to build alone.

TAME, VirtuAmerica, and ELEV8

Three bodies of work grew from the same question: how do people move from inner clarity to visible progress without losing the reason the idea mattered in the first place?

TAME Your Storm™

A book and framework for turning mental noise into focused movement: Transcribe, Assess, Map, Execute.

The projects make more sense when you know what shaped them.
